The idea · Vol 2

Three acts, one evening.

Vol 2 has a direction: first see, then listen, then stay. The art is seen before it is explained — and explained by the artists themselves, five minutes per voice.

Arrive

16:00 — 16:45 · 45 min

A welcome drink in hand, live harp in the room — unamplified. Food and drinks are available from the start. Forty-five minutes in which the works stand on their own: no programme, no obligation, but never silence.

Listen

16:45 — 19:05 · 2 hr 20

A welcome with a greeting from the mayor, then the voices: each artist speaks for five minutes — alone, in front of everyone. After a breather, the panel in front of the whole hall.

Stay

from 19:05 · 2 hr 55

From 19:05, the DJ accompanies food, bar and conversations in the background. Food and drinks have been available since the start of the evening. The artists stay approachable at their own works.

Schedule · 17 October 2026

The evening, minute by minute.

“What are we actually building this for?”

Why build a place in the middle of the Ortenau where art, work and community come together — and what does the region get out of it? Four voices from art, technology, business and politics, moderated, in front of a full hall. Guests are currently being confirmed.

Hosted with the municipality.

Vol 2 does not simply happen in Schutterwald, it happens with Schutterwald: the municipality hosts the evening together with Innergarden, and the mayor opens it with a greeting.

The cause · Vol 2

An evening that gives something back.

Vol 2's cause comes from Schutterwald: the Jumppark, a set of bike jumps on the municipal recreation grounds. Two teenagers built it themselves over the past two years, and plenty of local children ride it today.

A shelter is the next thing it needs. The two are collecting donations for it, and Vol 2 collects alongside them on the evening.
